Clear Bag Policy

To provide a safer environment for the public and significantly expedite fan entry into stadiums, the EverBank Stadium has implemented an NFL policy this year that limits the size and type of bags that may be brought into stadiums. Exceptions to this policy will be made for all medically necessary items after proper inspection.

We strongly encourage fans to not bring any type of bags, but fans will be able to carry the following style and size bag, package, or container at stadium plaza areas, stadium gates, or when approaching queue lines of fans awaiting entry into the stadium:

  • Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12" x 6" x 12."
  • No buckles, grommets/hardware or décor can be concealing any part of the bag. The bag literally must be all clear.
  • One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziplock bag or similar).
  • Logo can only be on one side of the bag.
  • Small clutch bags, which cannot exceed 4.5" x 6.5" in size, with or without a handle or strap can be taken into the stadium with one of the clear plastic bags.

Atlantic Self Storage lockers are available for use at Gate 1:

  • Small lockers are 11" wide x 6" tall x and 15" deep
  • Large lockers are 11" wide x 12.5" tall x 15" deep
Prohibited Items

Prohibited items include, without limitation:

  • All bags with the exception of a 4.5" x 6.5" or smaller clutch, wallet or clear bag no larger than 12" x 6" x 12"
  • Cameras with detachable lenses or lenses longer than six inches
  • Clothing with profane or obscene language/content
  • Coolers or containers, including cans, cups (except current year stadium souvenir cup series)

All ticket holders and their belongings are subject to search (including by walk-through magnetometers, magnetic wanding, and/or pat-down) upon entry into the stadium. By tendering a ticket and entering the stadium, ticket holders consent to such searches and waive any related claims that they may have against the City of Jacksonville, the University of Florida, the University of Georgia, ASM Global and their respective affiliates and agents. If ticket holders elect not to consent to the searches they will be denied entry into the stadium without refund.

Fans may not check items at the gates or in the stadium. Fans will be asked to either store their prohibited items in the Atlantic Self Storage Fan Lockers, take prohibited items back to their vehicles or dispose of prohibited items at the entrance of the stadium. The City of Jacksonville, the University of Florida, the University of Georgia, ASM Global and additional stadium partners are NOT responsible for items left behind, lost, stolen, or damaged. What is the Stadium of the Future?

The City of Jacksonville and the Jacksonville Jaguars have partnered to transform EverBank Stadium. Transforming the stadium and enhancing the existing structure is the most sustainable and environmentally friendly way to provide the Jaguars, the Florida-Georgia / Georgia-Florida game, and the TaxSlayer Gator Bowl with a home that will provide a state-of-the-art fan experience. It will also enhance the ability to attract other events, such as soccer games and concerts.

Construction is scheduled to be complete in August 2028. During construction, the Georgia-Florida game will be played in Atlanta for 2026 and the Florida-Georgia game will be played in Tampa in 2027. The Jaguars will play at home for the 2025/26 and 2026/27 NFL seasons, keeping as many games as possible in Jacksonville. Fans will have the ability to see progress when attending games during these NFL seasons. The transformation of this city-owned asset will benefit Jacksonville and the region. This project belongs to everyone.

How can I join RV City?

Thank you for your interest in participating in RV City for the 2025 Florida-Georgia game. This area is sold out; names are no longer being accepted for the waitlist. Attendees are encouraged to reach out to private parking lots for available tailgating opportunities.

Why does the name change from Florida-Georgia to Georgia-Florida?

Since 1933, the rivalry football game has taken place on neutral ground in Jacksonville, FL. Every year, the name of the football game alternates depending on the home team. On even number years, Georgia is the home team, and the game title is Georgia-Florida. On odd number years, Florida is the home team, and the game title is Florida-Georgia. In 2025, Florida is the home team.

Are there available hotels in the area?

Contact Visit Jacksonville at www.visitjacksonville.com or call 1-800-733-2668 and ask for a complimentary visitor’s magazine and a list of available hotels.

All violators will be escorted off the premises by the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office. These regulations are applicable in parking lots owned and/or leased by the City of Jacksonville and managed by ASM.
